The Balloon Guide Catheter is a double-lumen, braid-reinforced, variable stiffness catheter designed for used to assist the insertion of intravascular catheters and guide them into the target vessels of the carotid artery.An radiopaque marker band is located at the distal end of the catheter for navigation.A compliant balloon is mounted on the distal end to provide temporary vascular occlusion during angiographic procedures.A standard luer connector with a side arm is located at the proximal end of the catheter.
