A sincere thank you to Prof. Chaohua Wang’s team from West China Hospital, Sichuan University, for delivering an insightful lecture on: “Flow Reconstruction Strategies in Complex Intracranial Aneurysms: A Case-Based Experience”
The session provided a practical case-based perspective on flow reconstruction in complex intracranial aneurysm treatment, covering key considerations for intrasaccular flow disruption and flow diversion, including device visibility, wall apposition, microcatheter compatibility, and long-term treatment performance.
Through representative clinical cases, Prof. Wang’s team shared valuable experience in strategy selection for different aneurysm anatomies, including bifurcation, wide-neck, sidewall, and challenging distal aneurysms.
